We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. We are a church school and the distinctive Christian ethos underpins our behaviour and relationships across the school. Leaders from other denominations of churches, as well as our church, lead some of our collective worship. We work closely with the other Church of England school in Harwich; the two schools joined together to share collective worship with the Bishop of Chelmsford. Our common ties to the church have led to other very effective cooperation, including staff exchanges, cross-moderation, and sharing of leadership expertise.
SIAMS Report, February 2015 - “School values….are based on the belief that everyone is unique and special in God’s eyes. Consequently pupils are treated as individuals. This spurs staff into working proactively to support academic and personal development. As a result pupils achieve well with many making at least expected progress and some making more than expected progress. Attendance is good because pupils feel safe and are happy in school.”
This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
